This upcoming spring, 20 Stetson students have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a brand new community in Jocotenango, Guatemala. There, the students will work at Education for the Children's School of Hope. This school helps support students from kindergarten to university. Currently, more than 800 students are working with them.
Education for the Children's mission is to break the constant cycle of poverty in the community of Jocotenango, Guatemala. They do this through education, access to clean water and healthcare, and providing social services and assistance with further education.
The students attending this trip will get an inside look at how the school operates while also assisting teachers, interacting with students and experiencing the local culture!
Without support like yours, many students would not have the opportunity to participate in life-changing global service trips. We appreciate all the support given to the program!
